The Solebury Township Comprehensive Park & Open
Space Committee is a volunteer board appointed by the Board of Supervisors and composed of ten members. The Committee’s is responsible for developing a Comprehensive Park, Recreation, Open Space, Trails and Greenway Plan. The updated, municipal-wide Park, Recreation and Open Space Plan will address
resident concerns for future growth and can be used as a tool to assist Solebury Township in planning new recreational facilities and expanding opportunities at its existing facilities, including the creation of connections to residential neighborhoods and other sections of the Township. This Plan will help Solebury Township retain its rural character, while ensuring that a sustainable mix of recreational facilities and opportunities for new development are provided for Township residents and businesses as it continues to thrive and grow. In addition, the Plan will contain a Trails and Greenway Plan component.

The Comprehensive Park & Open Space Plan Committee meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00pm (unless noted) in the Municipal Building. Meetings are open to the public.
