One of the major findings of Solebury Township's participation in the Local Climate Action Program (LCAP) with Penn State is that 44 percent of our community's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions come from residential housing (single-family homes, multi-family homes, condominiums, etc.). One way property owners, homeowners, and tenants can reduce their emissions is to take a look at their appliances, HVAC system(s), and overall electricity consumption on order to identify opportunities to upgrade and/or convert to 100 percent electric.
