Pickleball Programs
Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to elevate your game, Universal Rackets Adult Pickleball Clinics offer something for everyone. Our tiered clinic structure is designed to meet you at your current skill level and help you grow with confidence. Each program combines instruction, skill development, and fun in a supportive environment, with a focus on technique, strategy, and game play. Each clinic consists of one session every Thursday for five (5) weeks.
Beginner: The Universal Rackets Beginner Pickleball Clinic will cover serving and returning, how to keep score, the rules of the game, and the fundamentals of dinking and ball control. Basic shot techniques and court positioning will be introduced. The clinic is structured in progressive segments so each session builds upon the last. By the end of the program, a student with no prior experience will develop into a confident player capable of playing independently outside of class.
Intermediate: The Universal Rackets Intermediate Pickleball Clinic is tailored for players who have established consistency with basic shots and are ready to elevate their game. This clinic emphasizes advanced shot combinations, strategic play, and enhanced court awareness. Players will work on purposeful hitting—including reliable third shot drops, drive-to-drop decision making, resets under pressure, and dynamic positioning. Sessions include targeted drilling and live point play to help participants transition smoothly between offense and defense in competitive match settings.
Adult Seniors 55+: Discover the fun of pickleball in a welcoming, low-pressure environment designed especially for adults 55+ who want to enjoy the game at a comfortable pace. This clinic emphasizes easy-to-follow instruction, gentle skill development, and casual game play. It’s perfect for beginners or anyone who prefers a slower, more social experience rather than intense competition. Stay active, meet new friends, and enjoy time on the court in a supportive and encouraging setting. All skill levels are welcome!
Juniors (All Levels): Our Junior Pickleball Clinic is open to kids ages 8–16 of all skill levels — from first-time players to those looking to sharpen their skills. Participants will learn the fundamentals of serving, rallying, scoring, and sportsmanship through fun drills, games, and match play. This clinic focuses on skill development, teamwork, and building confidence in a positive and energetic environment. Whether your child is picking up a paddle for the first time or ready to level up their game, this program offers something for everyone!
Session Dates & Times:

Thursday, April 30th – May 28th (rain date Thurs., June 4th)
- Adult Seniors 55+ — 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Adult Beginners — 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Adult Intermediate — 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Junior (8-15) All Levels — 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Jr. Pickleball Summer Camp 2026
Universal Rackets is excited to bring Junior Summer Pickleball Camps to Solebury Township! During the program, campers will learn the strokes and rules of pickleball in a fun, upbeat environment with hands-on, small group instruction. Students will drill, play fun and instructional games, and have the opportunity for some friendly competition. Campers should bring their own paddle, a filled water bottle and sunscreen, and wear comfortable athletic clothes and sneakers.
Camp will be held from 9am - 12pm at the Laurel Park pickleball courts located behind the Solebury Township Municipal Complex.
Two week options:
- August 3rd – 6th (rain date 8/7) 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- August 10th – 13th (rain date 8/14) 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
